The crochet group was formed up in 1988 and located in Doson, Hai phong. The group leader is Mrs.Le Thi Ngoc Ha. She gathered in more than 20 other young refugees women and taught them the art of crochet work, which is the traditional profession of that area. Those women were returned back from abroad so they were jobless and met with lots of difficulties in their lives. However, with this new support, they.learned very quickly and they soon become professional in making crochet items. Craft Link has supported this group since 1996. Craft Link provides help mainly in product development and product marketing. Craft Link is trying its best to guarantee those young women always have work to do sothat they can earn sufficient income to support their lives and their families.
