Kite Hue Club

The world-famous Hue kite maker Nguyen Van Be has taught a number of young people in Hue the skills of kite making. He says “kites of Hue join the youth and adolescence, people and rulers, earth and the immense sky, simple realities and splendid dreams”. Dubbed “marionettes of the open air” kites of Hue enact stories such as that of the birth of the phoenix or the tale of two sisters, Tam and Cam.

Craft Link has helped the club to introduce and market the kites all over Vietnam and oversea.
